Falling in love was just the beginning

The conclusion to the epic ten-book series about the unbreakable strength of family, friendship, and love.
Lily & Lo are back one final time. Childhood best friends and soul mates.
Ryke & Daisy are back one final time. Wild risk-takers and flirty adventurers.
Connor & Rose are back one final time. Genius rivals and intellectual teammates.
Ten years of laughter. Of heartache. And love.
***Authors' Note***Some Kind of Perfect is a full-length epilogue novel. It is highly recommended to read this book after Long Way Down. Otherwise, it will spoil the entire series. Some Kind of Perfect is meant to be the 10th book in the series.

And then we end—we end where we started. Just us. All six of us.

I’m finally done with this one! I half listened, half read this one over the span of months. I really didn’t want it to end. These characters truly own my heart!

I clasp her hand. My heart—a heart that cared for logic and practicalities and selfish pursuits—that heart is on fire.

I have no words for how much I love this series. I have to confess that in the beginning it was a little hard for me to get into that first book, Addicted to You . It was tiring to be in Lily’s head, it was also desperate and depressing. However, just as Lily grows on you, these books and all of these characters grown on you. The more I read, the more I loved the books, I’m so glad I stuck to it. And boy have Lily and Lo grown on me, I love them to pieces!!!

We speak of moving mountains, but sometimes people can completely rotate the world, just so someone else can land upright on their feet.

This is basically the Epilogue book. Overall the series spans 17 years, and this book recaps the last 10 years. It’s written in all 6 POVs and it shows you snippets of their lives in those 10 years. It’s the perfect bridge book as it set-ups and foreshadows the Like Us series, which will start with Damaged Like Us. And I can’t freaking wait!!!

“How much more is there?” Years. Lifetimes.

On a different occasion, half of us might frown. The other half might recoil. I’d always stay impassive, but tonight, in this moment, we all just smile. Our histories may contain darkness, but there is great light. I found love in that time. Love that extends to these five people.

Krista and Becca are so freaking talented, these books read like a movie. You honestly feel like you’re there experiencing things with this gang, everything is so perfect and also so detailed. You can’t help but feel like these people are real, like they totally exist somewhere in Philly.

My favorite character is hands down Connor Cobalt, so cocky, so self-assured and so smart. His intelligence is beyond, and just like with Rose, totally turns me on. Rose is a very close second for favorite characters. Hands down my favorite couple and one of my top book couples ever!!! Of the entire series, their books are my top favorites #Coballoway

Rose captivates me to the point where she has all of my attention. My eyes, my mind, my heart.

I had never looked back in that way before, but for the very first time, I did. I looked back, and I only looked back at her.

Although the series started with Lo and Lily, I truly believe Connor and Rose are the glue that holds them all together. They are just the ultimate protectors, and it’s just great to see their family dynamic.

We draw our gazes to our children. Fire and water upon them. We tell all seven the one word that has breathed inside of us from the moment we met. We say, “Ensemble.” Together.

And let’s not forget Ryke and Daisy and their amazing journey. Like I said, they’ve all grown on me and I will never forget them. Watching all six of them grow up and raise families has been a pleasure to watch or read! Now I’m ready for the next generation of Hale’s, Cobalt’s and Meadow’s.

I absolutely recommend this series, it’s so unexpected and refreshing and so full of heart. It’s amazing to watch a story truly come full circle like this one does. It is 10 books long, and they are long books so have tons of patience. In the end, it will be so worth it!!!

As we head home, I feel all the sentiments Lily told me earlier tonight. Our bad days have the ability to become better. It may be a horrible month. A horrible year. But there will be good days, good moments, great seconds. I vow to never forget that.
