Make a deal with the devil and you might get what you want, but will it be what you need?
Jennifer Sylvester wants one thing, and that one thing is NOT to be Tennessee’s reigning Banana Cake Queen. Ever the perpetual good girl and obedient daughter, Jennifer is buckling under the weight of her social media celebrity, her mother’s ambitions, and her father’s puritanical mandates. Jennifer is officially desperate.
And desperate times call for Cletus Winston.
Cletus Winston is a puzzle wrapped in a mystery covered in conundrum sauce, and now he’s in a pickle. Despite being convinced of his own omniscience, extortion by the exalted Banana Cake Queen of Green Valley has taken him completely by surprise. So... what’s a maniacal mastermind to do?
Likely, the last thing you expect.
'Beard Science' is the third book in the Winston Brothers series, is a full-length romantic comedy novel, and can be read as a standalone.

REVIEW

Re-read July 2017

Picking your favorite book is like picking your favorite child. But Beard Science is in my top two. I. LOVE. THESE. PEOPLE. Specifically Jenn. I absolutely adore her character. How do you pull off a herione that is incredibly innocent, naive and vulnerable yet at the same time abudently smart, brave, and strong??? Penny Reid, people. That’s how. Jenn is my tribe.

“Her kindness doesn’t make her weak, it makes her strong.”

Original Review:

If someone would’ve told me when I started this series that Cletus’ book would end up being my favorite, I would’ve said that they were plum crazy. Because, we’re talking about Cletus Winston. But my thoughts started to change with Jethro’s book. I really started to fall in love with him. But then we get to know Jenn and I FREAKING LOVED HER!!! I’m a very empathetic reading and I just hurt so bad for her. I absolutely ADORED her and Cletus!!!! I want more!!! I need more!!! I didn’t want it to end!!! This is definitely going on the re read shelf because I loved it that damn hard. Anyone out there thinking about giving this series a try, I say GO FOR IT!! Just remember that Cletus is mine. (I still can’t believe that I’m saying that!!)
