There’s no way I’ll fall for Wyatt Hennington.
He can keep his Southern drawl, irresistible smile, and those pick-up lines all to himself. I made the mistake of sleeping with him not once, but twice.
I’m not stupid enough to give him round three, especially after he left me in the middle of the night so I could see myself out. I vow to return to Philadelphia and forget him.
It proves easier said than done.
When the doctor informs me I’m the winner of door prize number two, I put my life on hold and head back to Bell Buckle. Three months and if we can’t make this work, I’m gone.
The problem is—when the cards are stacked against us, and I can’t bring myself to leave him, I’ll finally know if he truly loves me or if all my fears were real . . .
Wow, I loved, loved, loved this book! It made me laugh and cry, it frustrated me and then put me back together in the most amazing way.
So I bought this book when it came out but I was waiting to have some time to read Say You’ll Stay because I hate not reading series in order, but when Corinne said Zachary Webber was narrating the audiobook, I had to start it. However, once I started I had to go back and read SYS because that’s how I am. Needless to say I loved SYS, read it in one sitting and I finally got to start this one!
I usually do half book/half audiobook if I can cause I can read it faster. And read fast I did, this hooked me from the start and I finished in record speed. I definitely loved Angie, she was cute and funny and stood her ground when she needed to. I love that she was no doormat. Definitely loved her more than Presley. And Wyatt, OMG what can I say about this amazing man! Holy swoony cowboy. He’s a man’s man, a real one that has flaws but when he makes mistakes he more than made up for them. He messed up and grovel he did, this elevated this book for me.
I also loved the pacing of the book. These characters were dealt a faulty hand, and their relationship started up unconventionally but they did their best to come out of it together and strong. Simply loved this entire book, Corinne is so freaking talented. I’m more than hooked on this series and I can’t wait to find out which story Corinne will tell next!
