He’s dirty-talking and sex on a stick.
Duncan Willis should be on GQ, not the co-owner of the company where I work. He’s my boss, and he’s also arrogant and cocky, knowing how to melt panties with just a smirk. That’s why I’ve avoided him.
I might fantasize about him, but I don’t need that in my life.
Until I catch him—OK, hear him—in a compromising position.
Yes, it was hot, but that’s not the point.
I need a date for one weekend. He needs me to keep quiet about what I witnessed.
It’s the perfect blackmail…the perfect deal.
Until one weekend of fantasy leaves me wanting more.
Read this cheesy, predictable, short, hot, and steamy book and learn how fantasy can become reality! Duncan: The Deal, is a standalone with a guaranteed HEA. Don’t miss your next bookgasm. (less)
We were told to expect cheesy, short, predictable and hot with a steamy alpha. Guess what? Jade Sinner provided!
To start off with the heroine, I freaking love the name Kimbra. It’s fun and unique but completely fits her character, especially when we find out her real name. She takes charge but can also be vulnerable. That brings me to Duncan… If you want fun, hot and dirty, Duncan is for you! Realistic – this book is not, but can you imagine someone like this as your boss? Holy Hannah, no one would ever get any work done. Hello alpha alert. He was also deliciously swoony which I found a little unexpected, but totally loved.
“Pretend,” I mumble just before his lips crash with mine and his fingers splay over my thigh.
I drop the flower as he moves his hand higher. “Kimbra, no promises, but for this weekend, I’ll be the best boyfriend you’ve ever had.
This book is purely for entertainment purposes. Don’t go in expecting some deep characters with tragic pasts or intense therapy-like connections and professions. It’s light and refreshing, something perfect to put you in a good mood. Also, as funny as it was, I’m happy to see it did have serious times too for relationship development. It added to the story line and overall made it more enjoyable.
Pulling her gaze to mine, I do my best to sound stern. “Why don’t you want to look at me?”
“Are you serious?” She shakes her head and asks me again. “Are you serious?”
I kiss her nose. “You’re gorgeous. Your family is hilarious. You have nothing to be embarrassed about.”
“Were you just there? Did you just hear my grandma talk about vibrators?”
I nod. “And your mom talk about butt plugs.”
Thank the good lord above this is not my family. I would die of mortification.
At times, this story walks the line towards the vulgar and crude side, but as long as you can get over that, you’ll be fine. Is this realistic? Hell no! But it was so much fun to read about and just take a quick vacation away from life. That’s exactly what this book does, it pulls you in from the first page and takes you through Kimbra and Duncan’s whirlwind few days together.
No one is trying to kid you when they say this is short, it’s almost like a glorified short story. If I had to guess, I’d say maybe about 50 pages or so? But it’s 50 pages of laughs, hot sex and lots of goodness, so you won’t be disappointed!
Any naughty readers want to share if they’re a member of the mile high club? I kind of want to be… 😉
I will be the first to say, I’m excited to see what happens with Ashton: The Arrangement!
