The rules of Society X are simple . . . break them and you're out.

Rule #1 - No names It doesn't matter if you want to know, it's forbidden.

Rule #2 - No exchanging numbers It doesn't matter if you want to call, it's forbidden.

Rule #3 - Everything is to remain strictly anonymous. It doesn't matter if you want to tell, it's forbidden.

The Dark Room is the only place you can live out your fantasies and no one will ever know it's you. For Parker, what started out as a business transaction has turned into an addiction. For Mia, it's been a chance to discover who she truly is.

What happens in the dark will have you begging for more...

Ah!!! This is one of those books that you HAVE to experience for yourself because if I even attempt to explain then I will spoil the entire book. This book is hot and exciting and funny and even sweet. It centers around Parker and Mia, friends since they were kids, who now have recently reacquainted. Parker is a businessman and Mia is his best friend’s little sister. They are ridiculously attracted to each other but they don’t act on it.

At the same time, Parker is an investor in Society X, a new and exciting sex club, for which Mia has recently become a member since attending a friend’s bachelorette party there. One of the features of Society X is the Dark Room. The Dark Room has a set of strict rules that include no names, no exchanging numbers and anonymous sex in the dark. No surprises there, Parker is intrigued by the room and so is Mia, and as fate will have it they become each other’s first and only partner in the Dark Room. The chemistry between the main characters is amazing both in and out of the Dark Room.

That’s pretty much all I can tell you, the rest is up to you to find out. The story is intriguing and captivating and it will keep you at the edge of your seat. I love McLaughlin and Dover separately, and together they didn’t disappoint either. The story flows perfectly and the writing is superb, and super hot! Dark Room is as stand alone and first in a series. I highly recommend this one if you’re looking for a super hot read.  Can’t wait for the next book in the series!
