I’m the guy you love to hate.
In every story in my life, I seem to end up playing the villain—and I’ve got the scars to prove it.
That role works fine for me, because I’m sure as hell not anyone’s hero.
I run my life and my empire with an iron fist—until she knocks my tightly controlled world off its axis.
She’s nobody’s damsel in distress, but I can’t help but want to save her anyway.
I guess we’re about to find out if there’s a hero buried … beneath these scars.

Is it possible to give a book more than just 5 stars?  If so, then that’s what I’m giving this one!! MORE!  Yes, it was THAT awesome.  I will try super duper hard not to spoil anything here.

First, I need to congratulate Meghan on a job really freakin’ well done. This one, seriously is the best one yet and I feel like crap saying that because Mask is my absolute favorite. She pulled out all the stops on this one. Bra-f**king-vo!

Second, Lucas Titan. Lucas F**KING Titan. My GOD. He is THE alpha of all freaking alpha’s. I’d been craving dirty, naughty and holy Christ did this man deliver. *Fans self*  Can a man’s mouth BE any dirtier?!  I. MEAN. REALLY.  He may hide under scars and can be a dirty talking jerk BUT when his softer side shows you can’t help but Melt. Like. Butta.  Lucas had me swooning. Hard. Like, HARD. I read this book twice! Yes, twice. As soon as I finished it, I HAD to go back and visit them again. It was THAT good.

Third, Yve. Yve. Yve. YVE! Can a heroine get any more bad ass, be independent, embody strength a refreshing sense of vulnerability all at once? I fell in love with Yve back in Mask, she embodied strength then. Now. Psssshhh. She doesn’t take shit from anyone and isn’t afraid to tell you like it is. She knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to demand it. After all that Yve has been through SHE is the one that comes out on top.

Supporting characters play a huge role in books, they’re just as important as the main characters themselves. I am referring to Jerome. I want to put him in my pocket. I fell in love with him just as hard as I fell for Yve and Lucas. Everything about this book is perfection. Everything. As I stated before, Meghan completely was on point with this one and went all out. In her last book, she threw me, it was good. I gasped. This time, I wasn’t going to be fooled. I had it all figured out. I really did. Then BAM! Blindsided. Again. Her Disney references had me flashbacking to my youth and replaying certain movies in my head. PER-FEC-TION.  I want to scream it from the rooftops and make every person in my life read this and the rest of her series!

I’ve been a fan since Mask and she is one of my FAVORITE authors. I CANNOT WAIT for more!!!!

About Meghan March

Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She’s also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut. Her past lives include slinging auto parts, selling lingerie, making custom jewelry, and practicing corporate law. Writing books about dirty talking alpha males and the strong, sassy women who bring them to their knees is by far the most fabulous job she’s ever had.
