Carolina Cold Fury star Garrett Samuelson never wants to miss out on a single minute of fun. Whether he’s playing hockey, hanging out with friends, or walking the red carpet with a new date on his arm, he lives every day to the fullest. When he meets Olivia Case, he sees someone who’s exactly his type—confident, sexy, smart . . . his next fling. But the more he pursues her, the more Garrett shares a side of himself that other women don’t normally get to see.
Olivia has been keeping a secret. While Garrett lives for the next thrill, Olivia’s not sure she’ll live to see the next day. She’s undergoing treatment for some serious medical issues, and she doesn’t have time for a relationship with no guarantees—especially one with a hot-as-sin womanizer who won’t take no for an answer. But as she gets to know the real Garrett, Olivia can’t help falling for him . . . hard. To reveal the truth would mean risking everything—but you can’t score without taking the tough shots.

I want to start by saying, that I have waited so long to read this series… because of this book right here. I was terrified! It has a troupe in it that I am not a fan of. I am currently kicking myself for waiting so long, because I absolutely LOVED this book! I had to calm myself down before I could write this review. I was a happy crying mess!

We meet Garrett, in the first book of this series (Alex) and I have loved him since his first appearance! He was cocky, hilarious, told dirty jokes, was a true friend to Alex and Sutton, and a respectful manwhore. He blew me away in this book. He was so strong and supportive of Olivia. I honestly don’t know many men, who would step up to the plate like Garrett did. His words of encouragement and his strength in the situation made me respect him.

Oliva, is a character that I will never forget. As I am typing this… tears come to my eyes. She is fierce, strong, graceful, courageous, funny, caring, loving, and so incredibly strong. To be so young and face the challenges that she’s had too… I don’t think I would have been as courageous and strong.

Garrett and Olivia, were perfect for one another. There was a level of love, support and tragedy, that alot of couples don’t have to face that early in a relationship. I loved them together. Their epilogue is one of the most romantic, beautiful and fulfilling HEA I have ever read. The epilogue makes this book worth it.

Added bonus! We get to see Alex and Sutton alot in this book!!!

Garrett’s book gave me all of the FEELS. His book taught me some valuable things. His book made me cry happy and sad tears. His book will forever be a favorite of mine.
