TAKE – verb: to reach for and hold in one’s hands or get into one’s possession, power or control.
Logan Mitchell is a man who’s always been more than happy to take what he wants. It’s a philosophy that’s proven lucrative in both his business and personal life, and never was it more apparent than the night he laid eyes on Tate Morrison. After pulling out all the stops and convincing the sexy bartender to give him a try—he’s hooked. Now, Logan finds himself in a predicament that demands more from him than a smart-ass answer and his innate ability to walk away when things get too deep. He has a choice to make, and it’ll force him to do something he’s never done before—take a chance.
Tate Morrison knows all about taking a chance. He took the biggest one of his life the night he showed up at Logan’s apartment to explore his unexpected reaction to the man. Ever since then, he’s thought about little else.At first he was convinced his attraction was based solely on his body’s curiosity. But the more time he spends with the silver-tongued lawyer, the more Tate realizes that their physical chemistry is only the beginning. He’s starting to catch a glimpse of what life with Logan would be like, and it’s one full of excitement and satisfaction—a far cry from what he had in the past with his soon to be ex-wife.
Each man will face their fears as they begin to understand the true meaning of give and take. Their feelings for one another will be tested, as will their very beliefs. But now that they’ve found love where they least expected it, will they be brave enough to reach out and take it?

Just like with Try, we had another epic buddy read for Take, and boy did we enjoy our boys Logan and Tate!!!!

Take is book two in Ella Frank’s Temptation series. In this continuation of Logan and Tate’s journey, this author once again takes us into the minds and hearts of two very different, powerfully potent men. However, this time, we get to see them risk it all as they grab hold of the reigns and take what they want.

Wil: Logan and Tate definitely do not disappoint on Book 2 of this trilogy. Love the story, love the hotness and love the romance. Super hooked!

“I want you inside me”
“If that’s what you want…” Logan let out a shaky exhale when Tate’s fingers found him and surrounded his length.
“It’s what I need.”

Perry: A bit draggy in parts and one too many sex scenes but I loved the way Logan and Tate’s relationship evolved in this one. Because Frank writes in such a detailed way, you can really feel their love evolve organically. My heart broke for Tate as well for the struggle he’s facing and I can feel Logan’s vulnerability in relation to his past. This is such an extremely hot, well written series. I’m definitely interested in finishing and reading Trust asap. The cabin scenes were HOT.

“Lust and arousal were the driving forces in the room, but just under the surface was something much stronger–something he wasn’t sure they were ready to acknowledge.”

Christina: WOW! Ella Frank did not disappoint with book 2! The sex….so amazing and so much of it. Honestly I would have loved maybe one less sex scene and added a talking scene. Tate and Logan couldn’t have a conversation without dry humping each other, lol…but I don’t hate it. It showed that they NEEDED each other that much. Their relationship grows so much in Take. Oh how I love a bossy, sure, take hold Tate Morrison!!! Tate does it for me. Of course I love Logan too! How can you not? He drips sex and is confident, but what I love even more is a vulnerable Logan, and we see that in this book. They are amazing and I can’t wait to read Trust!

“Logan had fundamentally changed him, made him see the light–or the fucking stars–and there was no way he could ever be unchanged.”

Angie: After Try, I thought I could not love Logan and Tate more…. I was soooo very wrong. I fell even more hopelessly in love with them. Take might just be better then Try, because as the boys evolve and transform you can’t help but love them more and more! They left me breathless (and panting). This is one spectacular ride. Logan and Tate are very special… I know they will stay with me forever.

“What are you trying to do, Kill me?”
Tate shook his head. No. I’m making you mine.”
Logan released his hard-on and grabbed Tate’s ass, pulling him up so he could rub their cocks together. “Don’t you know? Im already yours.”

The sex in this second installment was just as hot, raw, sweaty and erotically passionate as before. But this time we also get the added emotion making each explosive encounter the two men shared also heart-felt and meaningful. All in all, Ella Frank turned the heat-factor up quite a few notches in Take. It was nice to see Tate take the reins in quite a few of their sexual encounters showing Tate that he could give as good as he gets. Logan continues to be his usual insatiable self. Pair these two together you most definitely get fire-inducing sex that would leave anyone with a pulse panting. This book may go down as one of the hottest we have read to date. Take is a wonderful second book to this series. On to Trust! Stay Tuned!
