An emotional love story that follows the touch-and-go relationship of Hayden and Tenley; two young people who desperately want to love and be loved but are afraid to completely let go of their pasts.
As Hayden and Tenley navigate their newfound but slightly unstable relationship, they want to trust each other, but Hayden is hiding a dark and shameful past that he doesn't ever want Tenley to find out about. And Tenley has secrets of her own that could make Hayden run away forever. When Tenley asks Hayden to put a beautifully elaborate tattoo across her back, the two form what they thought was an unshakeable bond. But when Tenley's past shows up on her doorstep, will Hayden stand by her side...or run?

I absolutely love this book!!! I first read this story when it was a twilight fan fiction. It was my favorite back then and it has always stuck with me. When I found out it was being published, I was one of the happiest girls on earth! I knew it would be changed some, and I wondered how it would turn out. I was not disappointed. In fact it’s better now.

This is literally my favorite series hands down. Hayden Stryker is my #1 book boyfriend. Yes you heard me right. He is above Christian Grey, Jonas Faraday, Blake Landon and Gideon Cross. He is my #1! Kittens, cupcakes, tattoos, piercings, artist, tragic loss, insatiable, amazing friends, and an epic love story….. this is how I would sum this book up in a few words.

Tenley, is so strong. Some may look at her as weak, but I could not imagine being in her shoes. She has suffered TRAGIC loss and I can’t blame her for being fragile.

I love their heartbreaking love story. This book made me cry, laugh and swoon. You are taken on a roller coaster ride that you will never forget and never want to get off of. I love their slow burn and their healing hands and hearts.

I wish that I could tell you what I love exactly about this book but I don’t want to spoil any of it for you. Just read it! I promise you won’t regret it.

Helena Hunting is an amazing writer! I will read (and have read) everything she puts out.

This book does end on a huge cliffhanger, but the great news is that books 1.5 and Inked Armor are out. So, no waiting!
